• The Final Week of Degrassi: The Boiling Point...

    Posted on 08/19/2010 by Mary

All's I know about the final week of Degrassi: The Boiling Point (so soon?? I know!!) is:

    1) 'Member that "This school is on lockdown" thingy from the promos. Ooooooh...

    2) E-Clare fans should start doing cardio now so your hearts can handle it.

    3) I saw a picture of Zane smiling an actual not-tortured smile at Riley. My hand to God.

    4) And I saw a picture of Fiona taking a cozy little nap. During what appears to be exams. So that's probably not good.

  • Did Riley just almost kinda sorta come out-ish???

    Posted on 08/19/2010 by Mary

alttext Riley! If you were a real person and not a figment of some television writers' imaginations, I would HUG YOU WITH ALL OF MY ARMS right now!

Look how you made Zane almost fully smile! SO proud of you!

GO ZILEY! Or do you prefer Rane?

Here's the video, relive the magic.

  • E-Clare's First Kiss

    Posted on 08/18/2010 by Mary

Sooo... does a kiss performed in service of a school project still count?

Gauging by the way Clare had to put her hand on her head to hold her brains in after Eli BLEW HER MIND with his lips, I'm guessing yes.

Click here to relive the moment. And again. Annnd one more time just to make sure.

  • Thursday Night: Uhh... E-Clare isn't on? We guess?

    Posted on 08/18/2010 by Mary

    I'm sooo confused.

But probably only half as confused as Clare, who actually felt the warm, soft touch of Eli's lips on her own before he went completely bafflingly cold, which, what the hell??

    Anyone? Anyone?

I guess if he's gonna be baffling, at least he has the decency to look good doing it:

Eli Godsworthy. Baffling... or bafflingly cute?

  • Wednesday Night: E-Clare. It's on.

    Posted on 08/17/2010 by Mary

    Mmmhmm.

  • K.C. really doesn't "need this" right now?

    Posted on 08/17/2010 by Mary

Uh... yeah, Kace, Jenna doesn't "need this right now" either. Unbelievable.

Also, blaming her for being in denial and then basically pretending you can walk away from this?

Dear Pot: the Kettle called; it wants its black back.

Watch the scene again and tell us if you just lost as much respect for K.C. as I did.

  • Tuesday Night: Can K.C. handle this?

    Posted on 08/16/2010 by Mary

alttext Wow. Jenna and K.C. have a LOT to deal with tomorrow night.

We all know K.C. is basically a good guy with a good heart who has been a good boyfriend to Jenna (even if he wasn't so fantastic with Clare there at the end).

But no guy wants this news... not in high school. How do you think he'll handle it?

  • Jenna's Moment of Reckoning

    Posted on 08/16/2010 by Mary

alttext Hindsight is 20/20... and Jenna spent that three minutes her pregnancy test took finally facing the fact that yeah, it really is possible.

May you never have a moment where reality hits home quite as hard as it did for Jenna tonight, and may we all learn from her and K.C.'s mistakes. Click to watch it again.

  • Do you have questions about what Adam's deal is?

    Posted on 08/12/2010 by Mary

AdamIt was awesome when Adam told Eli and Clare they could ask him anything about his being transgender, and it helped us all understand a lot. But you might still have questions; unless you've lived it, it can be really hard to understand it.

Like Adam said to his mom, we don't have to completely understand -- just accept. But a little more understanding never hurt anyone.

So post your questions in the comments -- you can be as candid as you like, as long as you're respectful -- and we'll pass some along to a real-life transgender person to answer just as candidly. Sound good? Sounds really good to us.
