Finally! The day we've been waiting for, the day I've been working towards all year... The 2010 TeenNick HALO Awards air tonight at 8pm et! Make sure you're here for the live tweeting event, too -- because if there's anything the HALO Awards are about, it's community. The whole wide world-sized community. So come on, let's all talk about it. Get inspired! Get connected! Get your HALO on!
See you tonight on your TV screens,
PS: Don't forget -- we'll announce the winner of the How Do You HALO Sweepstakes during the show tonight! Find out who's going to get their HALO on with the stars of Degrassi!

By now maybe you heard about our How Do You HALO Sweepstakes. You can get all the details about it and enter to win over here.
I love this sweepstakes for two big reasons. The first is that I'm looking forward to reading all of your tweets about how YOU Help And Lead Others, and all the big and small things you're doing in your own life to make the world a better place. Just looking at some of the first entries now, I'm finding out about all the recycling clubs you're members of, the animal shelters you're volunteering at, and the wonderful organizations you support. I feel so good about the world's future just hearing from all of you.
And the second big reason is that I think the grand prize is truly priceless. This trip that the winner and his or her friends are going to take... it's a journey that I really do believe will be life-changing.
Doing service like this in a place where it's desperately needed can't help but give you a new perspective on the blessings of your life. The feeling in the winner's heart after this trip... it's better than any money or limo or anything. It's the light. And to experience that light alongside cast members from Degrassi... y'all are going to bond. It's going to be for real.
We can all get a glimpse of that light when the 2010 TeenNick HALO Awards airs on December 10 at 8pm et. See you then.

Hey y'all, Chairman Nick here! We're coming up on year two of my favorite awards show, and I couldn't be prouder. Last year, we flipped the script by getting celebrities to give awards to deserving teens. Our honorees Megan, Darrius, Brryan and Leah inspired us all to do great things with our lives, our abilities, and our voices.
And this year, we're doing it again just as big. If not bigger. Because HALO is more than an awards show... it's a movement.
When I say "a movement," I don't mean people will see the HALO Awards and be like, "If I volunteer, maybe I'll get to meet Justin Timberlake!"
What I mean is... I wanted us all to be reminded of our potential. How much we can do with our time and energy. How powerful our optimism can be. There's power in numbers, and this generation knows it better than any other generation in history. You were raised with the Internet; you were raised with a sense of how interconnected we all are. So it's up to you to light the way for the rest of the world.
You're going to be amazed when you meet this year's four new honorees. I get awestruck every time I think about them, and I grin ear to ear when I think about them getting the recognition and rewards they deserve. And we've got another no-joke lineup of celebrity presenters taking part, too -- I'm so grateful to them. It's gonna be a big night. December 10!

Exciting times up in the TeenNick offices! Our long-awaited brand new site is up, our long-awaited brand new series Gigantic is coming your way Friday, and also that show called Degrassi is coming back. That's a lot for a busted old, too-cold New York Monday! We haven't had this much excitement since Degrassi: The Boiling Point started up!
Anyway, I hope you're finding your way around the new site and clicking this and commenting on that and seeing what's up with your new online world.
Tell me what you think. And I can't wait for you to see Gigantic this weekend... it's gonna be large, haha.

Big night tonight! I know everybody's plumping up their couches waiting for the last episode of Degrassi: The Boiling Point. And you have my word that it won't disappoint!
Plus after that, you can hang around for The Nightlife -- we've got Gym Class Heroes frontman Travie McCoy up in the V.I.P!
Plus performances by America's Best Dance Crew winners Poreotix, and my girls The School Gyrls. Keep it locked! See you at the club!

Don't forget to keep it locked after Degrassi tonight! 'Cause we've got Landon Liboiron (your boy Declan!) in the VIP, and a video from Degrassi super-alumnus Drake.
Even though Jimmy on Degrassi was before my time here at TeenNick, Drake and I met a long time ago at a Teen Choice Awards show... those were the days. It's a great feeling to see him blowing up now, and an even greater feeling to be able to crank up the video for "Find Your Love" tonight.
Oh, and my friend T.I. will be there, too. No big thing, just the King of the South. It's like that at The Nightlife.

What do you think is THE Summer Jam of 2010? What song is always gonna make you remember this summer, until you're old and gray and crinkly? Tell me in the comments!
Then stop by the club later ... The Nightlife is on again tonight at 9:30p et! Anna Kendrick and Brandon Routh (from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) will be hanging in the VIP Lounge, and Cali Swag District will teach us how to Dougie / teach us teach us how to Dougie! See you at the spot, right after Degrassi.

The Nightlife drops TONIGHT! After you get your Degrassi on, stay for the afterparty and get your dance on with me, Chloe Wang, and Aaron Fresh... the New Boys are coming by to teach us all how to do The Jerk (jerk, jerk, jerk) and my boy Ice Cube is coming by, too! Ain't no party like a TeenNick party!
See you tonight at 9:30! While you're getting ready, Aaron made you a playlist of his favorite soca and dub tracks (from his Caribbean home of Trinidad and Tobago -- aka TNT).
If you google hard enough, I bet you'll be able to check these songs out...
AARON FRESH'S DUB AND SOCA PLAYLIST
(Soca = Soul Calypso, and it originated in Trinidad and Tobago)
Machel Montano - "One More Time"
David Rudder - "Islands in the Sun"
Bunji Garlin - "Snake Oil"
(Dub is an offshoot of reggae)
Sizzla - "Thank You Mama"
Mavado- "Amazing Grace"
Bob Marley - "Don't Worry"

Seems like you all are enjoying your heaping helping of Degrassi: The Boiling Point! Glad to see it, and stay locked because trust me... it gets even better.
But I've got some huge news! I've been out in L.A., and as you might have seen during tonight's Degrassi, I'm working on an all-NEW show for TeenNick.
Aaron Fresh, Chloe Wang and I have big plans: we're bringing the party right to your house every Thursday night this August. And it's a bangin' party, too... we got fresh music, hype dance moves, slick style, and hot guests. (You saw that Declan's coming, right? I know how you guys are with your Declan.) We're gonna break down dance moves for you so you can bump along at home, and baby we're gonna party all night! Or at least 'til 10 o'clock.
It's gonna be hot AND it's gonna be here quick! Get your clubbin' outfit together 'cause The Nightlife drops Thursday August 5 at 9:30p et, right after Degrassi.

It's TRUE, people! We've got a new Degrassi movie, and we're not scared to use it! Coming soon to your living room.
Now I know y'all are sitting there, getting mad at your computers for not being able to watch the new promo frame by frame by frame, so I had someone pull a couple out for you.
I can't tell you what's happening in these, but I can tell you this: Jay looks smooth. What's up, Jay, who's your tailor?
As for what's up with everyone else... you're just gonna have to wait for the movie, I guess. (But for now, you're welcome to holla at ya Chairman with your best guesses in the comments.)
