The winner of this week's Fan Favorite Friday poll, by a wide margin, is "High Fidelity." Watch both parts online, and relive a crucial moment in Jimmy and Spinner's bromance -- when Jimmy finally forgives Spin for his involvement in the shooting. Here's part one:
Here's part two, which includes the scene where the guys reconnect. If you've never seen High Fidelity, it is definitely worth watching. This two-parter is about SO much more than Jimmy and Spinner. Palex argue about their future plans. Darcy and Manny have a catfight. Ashley and Craig return to town. Ellie, Marco, Paige, Hazel, and Alex graduate. The final scene between Spinner and Darcy always makes me tear up. (I love the song that plays at the end of this episode -- it's "My Ex-Lover Is Dead" by Stars.)
We'll have another Fan Favorite poll next week, so check the Degrassi Facebook page!

Degrassi has had some major bromances over the years, including:
J.T. and Toby. Remember the episode (years before this picture was taken) when they bought their first condoms together? Vote for "Dressed in Black" if you want to see it again.
Jimmy and Spinner. Several of our Twitter followers nominated Jimmy and Spinner episodes for this week's poll, so you've got a few to choose from -- the one where Jimmy takes Spinner's ADHD medication, the one where they compete in a dance contest, and the one where Jimmy forgives Spinner for his involvement in the shooting.
Eli and Jake. They started out as rivals, but ended up as bros. Isn't it amazing that they stayed friends after the short film fiasco in "Building a Mystery?"
Check out the full list of nominees and VOTE for the episode you want to see again on the Degrassi Facebook page. We'll post the winning episode online on Friday.

In this week's Degrassi Fan Favorite poll, we asked fans to vote for the most heartbreaking episode. The winner, by a large margin, was "Rock This Town." Grab a box of tissues and watch the full episode online. If you haven't seen this episode yet, be warned: You may end up sobbing in a puddle of your own tears. It's a rough one to watch.
I hadn't seen "Rock This Town" in ages, and I completely forgot that J.T. is the reason the party happened. (Emma seemed iffy about throwing one until J.T. mentioned Liberty's birthday.) Somehow that makes what happened to him even more heartbreaking.
Check the Degrassi Facebook page next week for a new Fan Favorite poll.

This week's Degrassi poll asks fans to vote for the episode that's the most heartbreaking to watch, and it's a tough choice.
When we asked for poll topics on Twitter, several fans asked us to do a "most heartbreaking episode" or "saddest episode" poll, so you can thank @jennwastaken, @degrassihaha, @CholeSoledad, and @jiillyybeeaanns for this one.
Twitter fans also nominated heartbreaking episodes for us to feature in the poll. This week's options include:
"Time Stands Still" If you've never seen the school shooting that put Jimmy in a wheelchair, this two-parter is an essential piece of Degrassi history.
"Rock This Town" J.T. was one of Degrassi's most popular characters, and his final episode left his friends -- and the show's fans -- in shock.
"Jane Says" When Jane's father returned to town, she struggled to cope with traumatic memories from her childhood.
"Bitter Sweet Symphony" This episode, about Cam's suicide and its repercussions, is the most recent nominee, but that doesn't make it any less tragic.
Check out the full list of nominees and VOTE for your favorite episode on the Degrassi Facebook page. It could be one you've never seen, or one you want to see again (with a big box of tissues by your side). We'll post the winning episode online on Friday.

The winner of this week's Fan Favorite Friday poll is Sean and Emma's first date, as seen in "Friday Night." (Eclare's first date was a close second.) Watch the full episode of "Friday Night" online:
Sean and Emma are my all-time favorite Degrassi couple, and I love getting to revisit the episode where they first got together. It's crazy to think that even a soulmate-level relationship like theirs begins with the line, "Maybe we could hang out."
Next week, we've got another poll coming your way! Like Degrassi on Facebook so you won't miss out.

Our Twitter followers chose this week's topic and nominated their favorite episodes. Your voting options include these tumultuous first dates:
Holly J and Declan
Eli and Clare
Cam and Maya
As I'm writing this, Emma and Sean's first date (from way back in season one) is leading by a few votes. I'm surprised that Manny and Craig's first date isn't getting much support. I loved the way "Take My Breath Away" showed the same date from two different perspectives. Vote for your favorite first date now, and come back on Friday to watch the full episode featuring the winning date!

Here's an in-your-face fact: About 2,000 teen girls in the United States get pregnant every day. That means nearly 3 in 10 girls will become pregnant at least once by the age of 20. Eye opening, right?
Degrassi fans know the show has always dealt with real issues in a frank and thoughtful manner. There's a cause and effect for all life choices, and the choices made around sex can change lives forever. In honor of National Day, tune in to TeenNick today starting at 4PM ET for a block of Degrassi episodes that show how different characters handle the consequences of sex.Watch Degrassi Online.
Can't tune-in on Teen Pregnancy Prevention Day? Check out the related episodes, "Extraordinary Machine" and "Say It Ain't So," here.
Sex can have serious consequences, whether you get pregnant or not. For Jenna and K.C., the repercussions included an unplanned pregnancy and the mental anguish of deciding whether or not to choose adoption. Watch "Extraordinary Machine" to see how they both struggled with that choice.
For Alli and Dave, the consequences were stressful in a different way. In "Say It Ain't So," when Alli was offered a chance to enroll early at M.I.T., she didn't know if she was ready to leave Degrassi (and Dave) behind. That decision became a thousand times harder after she and Dave had unprotected sex, and Alli realized she might be pregnant.
Let's Talk about Safe Sex.
Think you'd make smarter choices about sex than Jenna, K.C., Alli, and Dave did? Test your sex smarts with this quiz at StayTeen.org. Answer questions about how you'd react in different situations, and the quiz rates your decision-making abilities.

The winner of this week's Fan Favorite Friday poll is the oh-so-awkward Mercy Street from way back in season four! Watch the full episode online.
If you've never seen Mercy Street, here's what you need to know going into it: Rick was abusive to his girlfriend, Terri, and put her in a coma. In this episode, he returns to Degrassi, and a lot of people (including Emma and Paige) don't want him there. The famed awkwardness of this episode takes place in the subplot, which is about J.T. trying to impress Manny. A few highlights:
"Look, it's a stack of dimes!" - Toby
"Guys, check it out. I have a solution to J.T.'s little problem!" - Danny
"Um... your lips are kinda sweaty." - Manny
"Uh, I can explain!" - J.T.
That is just at taste of the over-the-top awkwardness contained in Mercy Street. After rewatching it just now, I'm fascinated by the friendship between J.T., Toby, and Danny. Danny was the one to pull J.T.'s pants down, embarrassing him in front of his girlfriend, but Danny was also the one who used a fake id to buy the penis pump as a gift for J.T. What do you think -- is that a true depiction of what guy friendships are like? You embarrass the heck out of each other, but you also help each other through rough times?
Next week, we'll post a new poll, so watch Mercy Street now!

It's Earth Day, and we're celebrating by appreciating nature and the romantic moments it creates. Like this one:
I can really relate to what Katie says about how working in the garden has helped her. Nature is the best. Whenever I'm stressed or sad, the best thing I can do for my brain is take a hike or sit by the ocean and watch the waves.
This planet is good for us, so let's be good back to it, OK? (And not just on Earth Day, of course.)
Maybe if we're lucky, someday we'll all get to experience a Jatie-like moment where our hands touch around a l'il baby plant:
