I hate going from volleyball practice to a friend's house while looking like a slob, but I don't always have time to completely change outfits. Do you have any suggestions for cute transition outfits?

I always have this problem, but with going out after the gym! My suggestion? LEGGINGS. Leggings are fashion's gift to the world. You can go from home, to work out, to the mall and back again with them on. They look clean cut and are comfortable to top it off!

Coming from practice? Pack a cute sweater to change into after and tie your hair back in a neat pony. Spritz a little perfume on and you're ready to go! But ladies, remember…when wearing leggings, always (and I'm talking ALWAYS) wear a longer shirt to cover that booty!

What is one item of clothing or an accessory you would never be caught dead wearing?

Oh wow. I think I could go on for days with this question!!! And I'm not sure that's a good thing! I would never ever ever be caught dead wearing those rubber slippers (CROCS)!!! Although, when we film Degrassi, all the girls wear them in between scenes... Yes they are comfortable! But they are not cute people!! Even on set when someone takes a photo of us, I always take them off for the photo. I cannot stand them!

Another fashion DON'T for me: pajama pants... in public! Why do people still do this?! Throw on a pair of leggings! Come on!

The photo below is one of Imogen's outfits. Can you spot those ugly slippers?

And the crowning achievement of our entire holiday tree... Angelica's very special and totally not demented doll, Cynthia! All it took was one Barbie, a little glue, a red Sharpie, and some felt. Isn't she stunning?

  • Style 101 With Cristine Prosperi: Time To Boot Up!

    Style 101 With Cristine Prosperi

There are so many cute styles of boots but I don't know how to pair them with outfits! What types of boots go best with pants vs. skirts and dresses?

I can see how this could get tricky! Lucky for us, there are so many different styles of boots to choose from these days! Boots have become such a staple in people's wardrobes. In my opinion, it's always good to have booties, knee high boots and a motorcycle boot.

I used to be a little frightened about wearing any style of boots with skirts, but these days you can totally pull that off. When wearing a skirt I would probably wear booties with a small heel. Or if it's a little colder outside throw on a pair of leggings and knee high boots. For knee highs, I would suggest getting a tighter boot so they hug your calves!

I always wear my hair down and am bored with it, what are some easy hairstyles that I can start doing to amp up my look?

Good question! I've always said my mood reflects on how good my hair looks!! So lately I have been trying out new hairstyles. Sometimes it's a bit of a hassle to style it perfectly and take the time to curl it. My motto... The messier the better! If you wake up with a bad hair day, there's nothing a little teasing can't fix. Teasing creates volume and volume is hot!

Have a little more time? Curl SOME pieces of your hair to add a beach wave effect. Then gently run your fingers through your hair so the waves don't look so styled!

P.S. Curls look better the second day, so you don't need to wash your hair the day after. SCORE! Another quick easy style... Slicked back ponytail. Nothing looks more professional then a neat pony to show off that beautiful face!

    What's your go-to makeup product?

I don't wear a lot of makeup, but when I do my fav product is a great concealer, which I mostly use under my eyes. Sometimes, a lack of sleep or even just stress can really enhance those under-eye bags. Using concealer just brightens up your whole makeup look!

You can also use concealer to contour your face, but don't forget to blend it in! Whether you need to brighten under-eye circles or cover redness and blemishes, it always does the trick. Annie Clark (a.k.a Fiona Coyne) actually passed this tip along to me. I never go anywhere without bringing it! It's a life saver.

So, you've mastered the art of turkey trimmings, prepared your bellies for a river of cranberry sauce (if you're into that sorta thing), perfected your green bean casserole down to every last crispy friend onion, and... probably made the wise choice to leave all of the cooking to Mom.

    All About Accessories

How many pieces of jewelry do you wear for different occasions? If you go all-out with your earrings, do you scale it back in other areas?

Great question. I used to go all out with jewelry... Lots of bracelets was definitely my thing. However, as I've gotten older I've learned that simplicity is key. I think if I'm going to wear a lot of jewelry with an outfit it'll be thinner/smaller pieces. I wish I would experiment more with necklaces or earrings, but I hardly wear either.

A lot people look at jewelry as a second thought, but it should always be important. I think if you're going for a more casual look, a few thin bracelets mixed with small rings is cool and trendy. However going out to an occasion is when you can bring out a chunkier piece.
