The digital download of the Degrassi: The Boiling Point soundtrack went on sale today! Click here to buy the MP3s on Amazon!
Not only does it include songs featured on the show by artists like Eve and the Ocean and Adaline, but songs FROM the show like Dead Hand's "Paisley Jacket" and Jessica Tyler's "Mr. Perfect" and "White Horse" -- the song Jenna and Sav sang together! This is pure Degrassi gold. You're stoked.

I've been posting lots of classic Degrassi photos lately. This batch is semi-recent, but I bet someday we'll look back at them and feel all nostalgic.
So much cuteness. :)

I've been diving around in our Degrassi photo archives to see what I can find, and I put a new batch of pics together.
I like all of these photos, but that one of Clare just kills me! That's from back before she even attended Degrassi... before she met Alli or K.C., and looong before Eli. I love her little braids. :)
Which ones are your favorites?

I love looking at old Degrassi photos, but I can only call it "work" if I post them in the blog. So here goes...
What are your favorite photos from this batch? I love the top one of J.T., Liberty, and Danny, because they almost look like they should be a band called J.T. and the Van Zandts. Don't they?

Before he was Drake, he was Degrassi's Jimmy. And right after he put the finishing touches on the Comeback Season mixtape, he gave us one of his trademark super-candid interviews about... everything. Uh, his days of wearing Lady Speed Stick, why he's not interested in a "yes man", and the REAL reason he never answers his phone.
Aubs, we miss you to death, and we remain prouder than peacocks of your ongoing world domination. Couldn't happen to a better guy.

I love re-listening to this old podcast interview with Adamo because he talks about what good roommates he and Lauren Collins (Paige) would make, and here in the future we happen to know that they ended up living together for a long time. Maybe they still do? I'll tweet them and ask.
Also there are too many good pics of Adamo; I kind of went overboard. Sorrry!

Today, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) announced the nominees for the 2011 GLAAD Media Awards, which recognize and honor media for outstanding images of the LGBT community. Degrassi is nominated in the "Outstanding Drama Series" category, and it's up against Brothers & Sisters, Grey's Anatomy, Pretty Little Liars, and True Blood. Here's the full list of this year's nominations.
This is Degrassi's third GLAAD Media Award nomination. Congratulations to everyone involved in the show!

Remember when we called up Shenae Grimes and asked her about the scene where Peter grabs her buttock? If not, you're in for a treat.
Those episodes will be re-airing this Saturday as the Degrassi Every Episode Ever marathon continues!

Sometimes I forget how evil Jay was when he first showed up on Degrassi, but Mike Lobel (who played him) has never been evil ever. If you've ever wondered what it's like to hop on the phone with him and have a lickle chit chat, this podcast call we did with him back in the day is pretty indicative:
More classic podcast interviews coming all week... check back!

While Every Degrassi Ever keeps dominating your weekends, we dug into our Classic Degrassi Goodies barrel and pulled out... golden oldie podcast interviews! Back in the day, we'd call Degrassi stars like Lauren Collins up, and she'd tell us stories about blackouts at insane promo shoots. Like so:
This is the first of five classic podcast interviews we'll be posting all week; keep checking back! (Sorry they're in video format, long story... but I chucked up a bunch of gorgeous Paige pics to make up for the static "video.")
