It's almost time for one of the great American high school traditions! Sure, Homecoming may revolve around a football game or a Homecoming King and Queen coronation at your school, but here at TeenNick Style we're all about one thing.
Can you take a wild guess?
When it comes to Homecoming dresses this year, we're thinking outside the box. Check out some of our favorite red-carpet worthy outfits to inspire your Homecoming look!

Can't decide whether to go high or low this year? A frock with a short skirt and sheer overlay might just be the best of both worlds. Victoria Justice topped off her skirt with a cute crop top, while Annie Clark and Supah Ninja's Gracie Dzienny went contemporary Grecian goddess in their white dresses!

Super-formal not your thing? Floral prints (which are totally not just for spring) take a sweet and playful spin on dressing up. Go classic like Ariana, bejeweled like Victoria or neon bright like Annie!
NOT YOUR AVERAGE HOMECOMING

And for a Homecoming that's anything-but-basic, try some truly alternative styles. Throw on a leather moto jacket on top of a bright mini dress or rip a page out of The Thundermans' Kira Kosarin's book and ditch the dress altogether! And finally, because fall dances sometimes require fashion and function, throw on an over-sized sweater with a pair of pumps and call it an effortless-chic day. Do you dare?
Which of these outfits would you make your own? We want to hear all about your Homecoming outfit plans, so sound off in the comments!

They came, they saw, they slimed.
This year, TeenNick stars turned up at the 2014 Kids' Choice Awards in a BIG way! Degrassi's Melinda Shankar, Luke Bilyk and Demetrius Joyette hit up the Orange Carpet, TeenNick Top 10 heartthrobs Austin Mahone and Cody Simpson dueled it out in MAJOR slime showdown, and Aloe Blacc and American Authors tore up the KCA stage with unreal performances!
If you missed all the jam-packed fun on Saturday, here are some of our favorite moments (and a few you haven't seen before) from the 2014 Kids' Choice Awards!
ORANGE CARPET RIDE
Before the show, Demetrius, Melinda and Luke hit up the KCA Orange Carpet for a little step-and-repeat. They clean up nice, don't they?
But you better believe they showed their silly side, too!
And signing some autographs for adoring fans? No big deal.
Then there was that time Luke had a moment with a talking zebra. It was real, and it was beautiful.
But before the gang made their way to their seats, they hammed it up in the Live GIF Booth.
Meanwhile, over on the Orange Carpet stage, Austin Mahone kicked off the pre-show with a performance of his hit "MMM Yeah." The hair! The moves! I was just everything. Check out his performance here!
MAIN SHOW MADNESS
Then the main show began, and Ariana Grande won the KCA for Favorite TV Actress. Ah, emotions!
But it wasn't long before Aloe Blacc kicked things up a notch. His mash-up of "Wake Me Up" and "The Man" had everyone bopping their heads and singing along.
A bunch of classic Nick stars including Kel Mitchell, Drake Bell, Josh Peck and the casts of shows like Victorious, iCarly and Sam & Cat gathered to honor Dan Schneider, one of the greatest TV shows creators of all time! It was so cool to see '90s stars and current stars sharing the same stage!
Then, in one of the most epic moments of the night, Cody and Austin dueled it out in a slime showdown. You voted for who you wanted to see get slimed, and, well…
You get the picture.
And finally, American Authors closed out the show with a performance of "Best Day of My Life." Watch their full performance here!

Did you hear the good news? Your favorite Victorious and iCarly stars are coming back for a one-hour Sam & Cat episode, 'The Great Tuna Jump #ReunionSpecial!' It's always a HUGE deal when Jade, Robbie and Freddie cross paths, but guess what? This actually isn't the first time these characters from iCarly and Victorious have had a run-in.
In the iCarly special, 'iParty with VICTORiOUS,' Carly and Tori expose their two-timing boyfriend at a sick party. But more importantly, Tori and the gang joined Carly and friends for a spectacular mashup of 'Leave it All to Me' and 'Make It Shine!' (FYI, these tunes are the respective THEME SONGS for iCarly and Victorious!) Here at TeenNick, we thought it only appropriate to take a look back at this awesome moment in preparation for their reunion on Nickelodeon this weekend! Get ready for your daily dose of *mind blown*
Don't forget to tune in to the Sam & Cat special, 'The Great Tuna Jump #ReunionSpecial,' this Saturday at 8pm on Nickelodeon!
And just in case you're thirsty for some more throwback goodness, we compiled a few of Robbie's, Jade's and Freddie's wackiest looks!
Looks like these two were having a wild time on the set of a 1970s game show.
We always knew Jade had a temper, but she really scared us as this evil witch.
It was supposed to be a fun Halloween for Freddie. But then Nevel got involved. Cool costume, though!
