  • Eli Passes His French Exam

    Posted on 08/25/2010 by Mary

I'd say Eli got an A+ on that there French exam, yes? Please, feel free to watch Eli kiss Clare again. And perhaps again. And I suppose you could watch it again after that. Forty times would be weird though.

    ...But not that weird.

  • Adam boils over.

    Posted on 08/24/2010 by Mary

It's hard to be mad at Adam for his behavior a) after everything he's gone through and b) after he got literally thrown like a rag doll by his tormentors at Degrassi, including Fitz. But if there's anything we know well from watching Degrassi, it's that violence doesn't solve anything.

But Eli has shown himself to be from that "fight fire with fire" camp. Which raises the question... what would you have done in Eli's shoes?

  • Wednesday Night: Oh, Eli. Oh, Drew. Ohhh, Sav.

    Posted on 08/24/2010 by Mary

Only two nights of Degrassi: The Boiling Point left... I'm starting to get scared of how my body's going to react to the withdrawal. What if I can't handle it? What if I die?

Anyway. The next two nights... things are going to get a little insane. 'Cause you know, up 'til now things at Degrassi have been so boring.

I leave you with the following three images from tomorrow night's television program. While they cannot possibly give you a complete picture of the events about to ensue, I hope they at least impart to you the DIRE IMPORTANCE OF YOUR WATCHING. ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A THING FOR ELI AND WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SOME NICE DREAMS TOMORROW NIGHT. I hope I am being sufficiently clear.

  • Tuesday Night: Adam stands his ground

    Posted on 08/23/2010 by Mary

GO RILEY! Say it loud, he's out and he's... pretty much proud! Still has a few issues to work on. He'll get there! We believe in you Riley! And a big "whatever", followed by the world's biggest, roundest eye roll to whoever put that on his locker. Homophobia is so last century.

Meanwhile: I'm guessing plenty of us have been in Adam's shoes... dealing with the magically Disappearing Friend Who's Totally Wrapped Up in a Girl/Guy. But when you're Adam, finding new trustworthy friends is an extra challenge. I'm wringing my hands over this whole Fitz thing... and that promo is not making me any calmer.

  • Thursday Night: Uhh... E-Clare isn't on? We guess?

    Posted on 08/18/2010 by Mary

    I'm sooo confused.

But probably only half as confused as Clare, who actually felt the warm, soft touch of Eli's lips on her own before he went completely bafflingly cold, which, what the hell??

    Anyone? Anyone?

I guess if he's gonna be baffling, at least he has the decency to look good doing it:

Eli Godsworthy. Baffling... or bafflingly cute?

  • E-Clare's First Kiss

    Posted on 08/18/2010 by Mary

Sooo... does a kiss performed in service of a school project still count?

Gauging by the way Clare had to put her hand on her head to hold her brains in after Eli BLEW HER MIND with his lips, I'm guessing yes.

Click here to relive the moment. And again. Annnd one more time just to make sure.

  • The Week in Degrassi: Let's Review

    Posted on 08/06/2010 by Mary

So much Degrassi, so little time to really dig into the details all week! Luckily it's Friday catch-up night... this week's episodes will air again tonight starting at 9p et. Let's talk about what all happened since Monday

Eli: What is Eli's DEAL? What do you think is going on with him? And do you think Clare is going to get frustrated enough to lose interest? (Not that she's interested. Of course.)

Holly J and Declan: Buh! Do you think she was right to break up with him? The money thing was interesting -- when people have different amounts of money to mess around with, it can be difficult to figure out a way to hang out that's cool for both of you. Have you ever run into weirdness about money with a friend?

Sav: What advice would you give him about dealing with his parents totally unrealistic demands -- should he go outright rebellion, or just waiting until college to start being his own person?

Jenna: It seems to me -- like with the whole Jenna thing , and KC's reaction to it -- that girls are so much more critical of their own and each other's bodies than guys are of girls' bodies. What IS that?

  • Poor Eli's Nards.

    Posted on 08/04/2010 by Mary

Eli from Degrassi, post nard-kick. I don't know if our dude friends are going to be all that stoked that we isolated this clip... but it definitely made us go "Oh my GOD" when it happened.

Anyway, do you think Clare is right that the more Eli tries to even the score, the worse it's going to get? Or do you think he should keep fighting back?

  • Wednesday Night: Fitz vs. Eli

    Posted on 08/03/2010 by Mary

Can we talk about Sav's parents? Because they make me really, really mad. I remember having arguments like that with my parents and it was so frustrating. I wonder if Sav is going to go INSANE with the freedom once he moves out of his parents' place? Does anyone out there have parents like the Bhandaris?

Anyway, as for tomorrow night... someone requested pics of Fitz, so here's a double-dip for you.. Fitz AND Eli. Looking saucy, and like neither of them is up to any good on tomorrow night's episode.

Fitz and Eli from Degrassi, up to no good whatsoever.
