If I can buy one higher priced item this year, what would you recommend I should get? Purse? Jeans? Shoes?
This is such a great question. I love my purses so I would definitely recommend spoiling yourself with a great bag! Bags can last you for years and, if you pick the right one, never go out of style.
I recommend a neutral color (black, nudes) when it comes to an expensive bag. That way you can wear it with any type of outfit. Also, if you pick the right bag, you can literally wear it all the time. So why not splurge on something you'll use everyday?!

EDITOR'S NOTE: As much as we love dressing to the nines from time to time, most days we swear by the saying, "comfort is king." If you're the kind of gal whose wardrobe consists of a few quality, casual-chic staples, this week's Q&A with Cristine Prosperi goes out to you!
QUESTION: If I mostly wear jeans and tees, how can I spice up my wardrobe but still be comfortable?
I'm all about being comfortable and stylish! I often wear jeans and tees. The key is how you accessorize an outfit. For a jeans and t-shirt look, I always throw in some chunky jewelry and a fun bag to tie it all together. Even a scarf can do wonders to an outfit! Turn the look from day to night by throwing a blazer overtop and cute little booties.

Fall is one of my favorite seasons! However, not all people love the cold... so here's an easy and stylish solutio: LAYERING. Throwing on layers is the best way to be prepared for any weather condition! The key to nailing fall fashion is to experiment with different pieces in your closet. Layering different items not only keeps you warm but makes your outfit look chic and put together.
The layers I went with:
Denim button up
Classic knit sweater

Sabrina the Teenage Witch is coming to TeenNick, starting Monday, July 1st at 10pm ET!
The witch is back! Sabrina is coming to TeenNick, and in honor of this spell-binding news, let's celebrate the frisky feline who made each episode a little more magical.
Sabrina's sassy sidekick Salem is one fashionable cat, so let's take a look back at some of his most memorable ensembles.
Salem lounges in the lap of luxury in this fluffy little number. The combination of comfort and style earns this ensemble 4 out of 5 paws.
Is Salem sporting a clean and classic suit for a black tie event or channeling Count Dracula?? It's hard to say--we'll give this outfit 3 out of 5 paws.Salem is looking fierce and he knows it. The timeless hat and tie combination is classy, yet understated. 4 out of 5 paws for this one, sir.Salem is a cat who isn't afraid to show off what he's got--but this outfit takes "flashy" to a whole new level. Sorry friend...only 1 out of 5 paws for the suit covered in money. This kitty is a true party animal at heart. The fun beach hat creates a winning ensemble all on its own, and the pairing of the fruity umbrella drink deserves 5 out of 5 paws.
To see more of Salem's stylish ensembles--and to catch up with his bewitching owners--tune in toSabrina the Teenage Witch, weeknights at 10PM ET on TeenNick!

"Blow Outs are so rad. They actually inhale and exhale as you walk. And if I don't get these I'm going to be a total geek." That's D.J. from Full House, describing a pair of sneakers she's dying to own. (It happens in the "Working Girl" episode, which airs on TeenNick tonight @ 9pm.) I feel her pain, because I've been known to get a bit shoe-obsessed, too.
I get shoe-crushes on pretty much every pair that Irregular Choice makes, because I love bright-colored shoes that really stand out. I wish I owned them ALL... but that'd be pricey, and I'd need a bigger closet. I also have an adorable pair of ruffly pink Payless flats that I wear all the time. Colorful shoes just make me happy.
Do you have a favorite pair of shoes? Did you obsess for a while before you bought them?

Your T-shirt drawer is probably so crammed with crap T-shirts you never wear anymore. And there are all these new Degrassi shirts at Hot Topic, just waiting to be lovingly folded into your collection. It's unjust I say. UNJUST!
Unlame T-shirts, too, I swear! There's a Degrassi Panthers shirt, and even better there are RETRO Degrassi shirts, like this one. Yay life.

After Mary posted about Declan's wardrobe awhile back, great1zero wrote in with a question about Declan's striped hoodie:
"I have been trying to identify the designer of it for awhile now but haven' t had any luck and was hoping you could help out. Declan wears a lot of cool clothes and I never seem to see any name brands on any of them."
I checked in with Steve Wright, the wardrobe supervisor on Degrassi. He says, "The hoodies in question are from Montreal, Canada. Point Zero is the brand." Steve also mentioned that Declan wears a lot of Armani Exchange and that "you can find great stuff at the outlet store for cheap."
So there you go! YAY, now we can all dress like Declan.

You know those weird tux rental shoes that are like pointy and have almost no sole? Also the generalized idea of shoe rental is seems more appropriate for the bowling alley than a formal dance, no?
Anyway, there are options! These patent leather Chuck hi-tops aren't hard to find (here's a link... they're all over the Internet and probably the stores, too). I also saw a pair of black patent Vans slip-ons (covet, covet), but it was someone selling them used.
Actually... a girl could rock something like that with her dress, if that's her style and she's feeling saucy. And she wants to actually dance instead of teeter around getting blisters.
It's your prom; wear what you want, right?

Someone asked you last minute? Or you just found out some other girl is wearing your dress? You know, you can replace your entire prom look for under $150, like right now. 'Cause, real talk: the key to having an awesome prom is not how much you spend. (The real key is a complicated formula involving friends, dates, after-prom plans, and who's in charge of hiring the DJ.) Not to mention, prom tickets are expensive enough these days.
With that in mind, we found -- and it wasn't even that hard! -- four different head to toe prom looks for less than $150. Except one that went $5 over, but... don't call the cops on us, OK?

So... couldn't help but notice Jordin's epic nails -- operating some sort of touchscreen, no less -- in the "S.O.S. (Let the Music Play)" video. (It was on Obsess This this morning; you can see it in our Video Hub now or on Obsess This Sunday at noon et). Let's discuss:
1) Like or dislike? Just as a concept ?
2) Would/Could you wear them yourself?
