Bianca + Imogen = BFFs?

A lot of love stuff happened tonight (Dave and Alli... sigh, Wesley and Hannah... yay!), but I want to talk about the way Bianca and Imogen seem to be bonding.

Despite Bianca's "I never wanted to be your friend!" line, tonight's episode made it pretty clear that she needs someone to confide in. Imogen seems to be holding up alright post-Eli, but she could probably use a friend, too. I didn't see this friendship coming, but in a weird way, it totally works. I can picture Bianca and Imogen still hanging out in twenty years, being like "Hey, remember that red lingerie?" and laughing about it.

But on the other hand, Bianca is in REAL trouble... and we've seen Imogen do some pretty crazy, unpredictable stuff. Is this friendship destined for disaster? Keep in mind that Imogen threw herself on the floor to protect Eli from getting in trouble. How far would she go to protect Bianca from Vince?

Meanwhile... it was killing me tonight that there were police everywhere (pulling Wesley over, stopping the poker game), except where the real danger was. Props to Brendan Jeffers, the actor who plays Vince, for creeping me out in a major way during tonight's episode!

Got any thoughts on this Imogen/Bianca stuff? Do friendships get ship names? What are you calling this one?

Yikes. The amount that Holly J is going through in the span of a couple days is stressing me out -- and I'm just sitting there with my dog and a bowl of pistachios watching! Can't imagine what it would be like for a real-life HJ.

Holly J, stressing the hell out. Justifiably.

It was so crazy seeing her birth mom tonight... but even crazier thinking about her trying to digest 1) a potentially fatal diagnosis 2) a completely earth-shattering revelation and 3) a supersuper awkward meeting with the stranger you LIVED IN for nine months, all in the course of a week!

I was personally kind of shocked that her parents wanted to wait until she was 18 to tell her... that seems a lot older than my real-life adopted friends were when they found out. If you were adopted or have a friend who was, when did your/their parents reveal it?

Anyway, what do you think of Holly J's birth mom... and her $20,000 request?

I hope that's not what stands between HJ and life because we need her to graduate and change the world! Even if @degrassitextfam thinks she should get held back to hang out with Fiona. Which would undoubtedly be more fun for us, but we must be strong and noble and selfless -- we must think of Holly J and what's best for her.

PS: Can't say I'm Imogen's biggest fan in terms of her influence on Eli but, just on a sisterfriend level: that "We're not together" scene? OUCH! What happened to whisper-whisper-tee-hee-hee on the bench, Eli? The signals! They are mixed at best!

If you loved Eli and Clare as a couple on Degrassi, how are you holding up this summer? Last week, we had lots of Clare and Jake "cake-out" sessions... and tonight things got pretty steamy during Imogen's audition.

If you consider yourself an Eclare fan (or ever did), please answer the following questions:

1.Do you think Eli and Clare will get back together?
2.How long do you think Clare and Jake will last as a couple? Is Jake a rebound for Clare?
3.How do you feel about Eli and Imogen's big ole kiss tonight? (He didn't kiss Sadie during her audition.)
4.Imogen was pretending to be Clare during that kiss. On a scale of 1 to incredibly-freaking-weird, how weird is that?
5.How will you feel if Eli and Imogen start dating? Do you see it as a rebound thing or do they have real potential?

Hello, people who've seen Dirt Off Your Shoulder, Pt. 1!

Do you think Adam's right about Imogen? I mean... "psycho" is a strong word, but what kind of person injures herself just to keep someone she's never spoken to before out of trouble? Imogen seems to have made a real impression on Eli (putting tampons in your nose is a pretty memorable action), but I'm a little worried about the effect she could have on him.

Eli's going through a rough time, and I feel like he needs to spend time with calm, sane people (like, say... Adam). At the same time, I'm also kind of worried about Imogen. From what we've seen so far, Eli might not be the best influence on her either.

Meanwhile... Do you think Ziley are headed in a bad direction? What about Kenna? (I can't add anyone else to my worry list tonight -- it's full.)

And one final Degrassi thought of the night: I've never worked at a restaurant, so I'm not an expert on this, but there didn't appear to be much cleaning going on at that clean up party. If you've ever worked at a place like Little Miss Steaks, do things really get that wild after it closes up for the night? Enlighten me.
