I did NOT see that coming with Tinsley... though looking back, of course she would have the same experience with Bobby that Fiona did. Why would Bobby have changed, when he had basically gotten away with his behavior before?
This kind of solidarity makes me SO happy. Even though they were supposedly "enemies", Tinsley and Fiona are hopefully saving who knows how many other girls from being abused by Bobby. Now that it's out in the open, he can get the help he needs.
Do you have any "enemies"? And if so... what do you actually have in common with them?

I know it's not funny... because Holly J is really really sick.
But... I mean...
What's the MOST embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you? That you're willing to post in the comments? I'll go:
I peed the bed at camp one summer. But even better... I was in my FRIEND's bunk bed at the time, because we had switched bunks for the night. So, I peed on HER sheets. Which was that much more awesome.

Clare, mortified, in "Man with Two Hearts"
User Brandy created this message board threat about Embarrassing Moments on Degrassi... She mentions such golden scenes of humiliation as:
"When the teacher found the vibrator in Clare's book bag in the middle of class.
When Declan listened to the angry voice message that Holly J sent in front of her."
Ah, embarrassing moments. No one does them quite like Degrassi. What have been your favorites so far?
And... just fyi... mild SPOILER ALERT... you're in for another classic one this Friday.

Watching this kind of broke my heart -- in that it looks to the naked eye like Alli has discovered that YET another person doesn't have her back. It must be such a feeling of abject loneliness. Like, existential loneliness.
But when I take a step back and think about it:
- Yes, she had a terrible fight with Sav, but look at how hard he's trying to find her, look how worried he is about her.
- Yes, her parents have been overly strict, but look at where that comes from -- the overwhelming urge to protect her. Their intention is love even if they're a little inept at it sometimes. Who isn't a little inept at love sometimes?
- Yes, some people at Degrassi are talking behind her back but what about Clare? Or Dave? What about the friends who DID have her back? What about the friends who jumped on the football field and danced like jackasses in front of the whole school for her?
I don't know. I don't mean to get all emo on you but the whole thing is making me think about how, even when you feel as alone in the world as Alli does right now... that doesn't mean you're actually alone. It's an illusion. You know?
Roll call in the comments: Who are the people who really do have your back in this world, even if they screw up sometimes?

What do you think of the new ending Eli wrote for "Stalker Angel"? Are you comfortable just calling it poetic license or... would you be feeling a little shaky if you were Clare?

Whoa. Did you think you'd ever see the day when big brother Sav would LOSE IT on Alli like that?
On the boards, i<3eli said: "Wow and I thought Sav was on Alli's Side. Sav has made his own mistakes. Alli is really trying to become a better person, and I think it is going to be hard with Drew being friends with her brother. ...
This is like the same situation with Adam and Drew. Drew is betraying Adam by being with Bianca. The only difference is Adam isn't mad about it for some reason...."
Interesting points... why DO you think Adam isn't as mad at Drew as Alli is at Sav? I wonder if it has anything to do with how well Drew handled the Fiona situation when they both liked her...
And should Sav have stood by Alli on this one (and risked his music conservatory application), or does he deserve to live his own life and not have to kowtow to her baggage?

Hmm. Skipping the most important basketball game of the season to go hang out in the ravine with Bianca and Ron-Ron. Interesting choice, Drew.
Now that Drew's getting help, how do you think it'll go:
Bianca will drag Drew down with her
Drew will help Bianca be less self-destructive?

Just when Riley and Zane are really starting to figure out their relationship... life comes crashing down on them.
I'm curious: how much privacy do your parents give you when you have friends over... would they have knocked before coming in?

Dude. It's one thing having to tell your hot doctor boyfriend that you lied about being underage. It's another thing to have to do so with your MOM standing behind you with her arms folded.
Feel the cringe:
This too-awkward-for-words moment aside... we've always really liked Anya's mom. They have such a cute relationship... what do you guys think of her?

Remember that time Adam was all "Truth or dare" and Fiona was all "Truth" and then Adam was all "Dare" and then we were all "Omgomgomgomg, DANG Adam! Show her whatcha workin' with!"
Show of hands... who here has kissed someone during an actual game of truth or dare?
