Alicia Keys, 28, won five Grammys for her self-penned, self-performed music before she hit the legal drinking age. And then she won seven more. But when she's not busy blowing the music industry's minds, she is deeply involved with Keep a Child Alive, a non-profit that provides life-saving treatment to children and their families with HIV/AIDS in Africa and the developing world. "It's amazing to return to Africa and witness those who were so sickly they literally were near death, being brought back to life because of the medical care they were able to receive," she says. She's also involved with Teens in Motion, a grass-roots group in the South Bronx that gives teens a safe place to excel in music, dance, and drama.
