  • Which forbidden thing are you most likely to have in your dorm room?

    • An electric grill, so I can cook myself dinner if I want.
    • A coffee maker, in case I need help staying awake to study.
    • An overnight guest who never filled out the paperwork.
    • A Sharpie drawing (right on the wall -- why waste paper?)
    • A stereo, turned all the way up during "quiet hours."
    • All of these sound possible.
    • None of these. They're forbidden.
  • Which is a higher priority for you -- having fun or having a high GPA?

    • FUN! If it's nice out, I probably won't be in class.
    • Fun matters more, but classes are a good place to scope out my next BF/GF.
    • I guess I'm somewhere in the middle, but I'm definitely not a nerd.
    • I'll study with friends, and have both at once.
    • My GPA, definitely. I'll find time for fun when the semester's over.
    • I want both, blended together into the perfect college experience.
    • Neither. Other things matter more to me than college.
  • You're most likely to go into the common room if...

    • Someone's watching TeenNick. I can bond with almost anyone over TV shows.
    • My room smells like burnt popcorn, and I want to be somewhere else for a while.
    • My roommate refuses to turn the stereo down and I'm tired of arguing about it.
    • I see someone hot in there... alone.
    • I hear someone crying. Maybe I can help.
    • I hear loud voices and smell pizza. Floor party!
    • Nothing. I'm not leaving my room unless I smell smoke.
  • What might you hang on the door to your room?

    • A whiteboard, of course.
    • My class schedule, in case someone needs to find me in an emergency.
    • A sign that says "Come visit my new bunny! The door's unlocked."
    • A sign that says "If my music is too loud, go farther away."
    • A do-not-disturb sign. I just want to be left alone.
    • A do-not-disturb sign... especially if I've got company.
    • A do-not-disturb sign... especially if I'm studying.
  • Student Housing assigns you the roommate from hell. How will you handle it?

    • The right way. I'll talk to the roomie and find a way to work things out.
    • I'll beg the housing people to relocate me ASAP.
    • I'll ignore him/her completely, and hope he/she does the same to me.
    • I'll install a temporary wall in the middle of the room so we don't have to see each other.
    • I'll crash in other people's rooms as often as possible.
    • I'll find a friend to move in with next semester.
    • I'll make sure I'm even harder to live with than he/she is.
  • Would you ever date someone who lives in your dorm?

    • No. The other residents might get jealous.
    • I doubt it. Dorm dating isn't really my scene.
    • Maybe, if a study buddy turned into a BF/GF over time.
    • Maybe, if it's someone who I hang out with a lot anyway.
    • I know it's a bad idea, but if the person was hot enough, I probably would.
    • Yes, especially if other people tell me not to.
    • Definitely. These are the people I know best!
  • A messy room is...

    • Probably a sign that I've been too busy studying to clean.
    • None of your business, really. If you don't like it, don't come in.
    • A good way to scare people off, so they don't find out what I'm hiding.
    • Not a turn-on. I tidy up if I'm hoping to impress someone.
    • Not inviting. I clean, because I want people to stop by and visit me.
    • An embarrassment, if I'm showing someone around for the first time.
    • A fact of life. Cleaning sucks.
  • Which roommate would drive you the craziest?

    • One who wants to be my best friend and go everywhere together.
    • One who gets a 4.0 without even trying.
    • A sloppy one who gets kicked out for breaking the rules.
    • A cranky loner who gets mad if I leave the door open.
    • A goody two shoes who'd rather die than break a rule.
    • One who goes to bed at 9 p.m. and gets up at 5 a.m. to study.
    • One who never ever leaves the room.
