Video Guidelines
The TeenNick HALO Awards recognizes teens who are making a difference.
We want to know what you are doing to make the world a better place. In a video no longer than 1 minute long, tell us how you HALO (Help And Lead Others) and you may end up on TV!
Here's what you need to do:
1
Relax, be yourself, and tell us (in less than 60 seconds) how you "halo" in your community.
2
Introduce yourself. Start your video like this, "Hi, I'm [your first name] from {name of your state} and I HALO by…"
3
We need to see and hear you clearly; make sure your video is well-lit, the sound is clear, and that there is no music or TV noise in the background.
Here's what you don't want to do:
1
Make sure you're not wearing clothing with logos, and keep brand-name products out of the frame.
2
Make sure there’s no personally identifying info in your video. "NO full names, exact locations, or contact info, or else we can't use your video!".
3
Don't include anyone else in the video; it needs to just be you, otherwise we have to get extra legal releases.
