Ben Schumann Picture - SLiDE

Ben Schumann plays Ed. Ben trained in drama and musical theatre at The Centrestage Performing Arts School in Melbourne, Australia. Before taking on his starring role in SLiDE, Ben played Harvey in Tangle, Goober on Snake Tales, Marco on Kick, and Franco Galluzo on Holly's Heroes. He has also appeared in guest roles on the Australian dramas Killing Time, City Homicide, Rush, and Neighbours. Ben made his television debut on the series Blue Heelers in 2003.

Gracie Gilbert Picture - SLiDE

Gracie Gilbert plays Tammy, Ed's best friend. When Gracie was 13, she earned her first professional role, in the television series Streetsmartz. In 2008, she went on to play Vicki in the TV series Lockie Leonard. When she first received the scripts for SLiDE, she was backpacking in Europe and unable to audition. They were still casting when she came home from her trip, so she submitted a tape, went to Melbourne to audition, and got the role.

Emily Iris Robins Picture - SLiDE

Emily Iris Robins plays Scarlett. Emily grew up in Orewa, New Zealand, where she was involved with the Centrestage Theatre Company. In high school, Emily auditioned for the Australian drama Shortland Street, and was cast in the role of Claire. Before working on SLiDE, she starred in the Australian children's TV show The Elephant Princess, playing Alexandra Wilson.

Adele Perovic Picture - SLiDE

Adele Perovic plays Eva. Adele became interested in acting when she was five years old, so her mom enrolled her in acting classes. She studied drama in high school, and majored in Theatre Arts at the University of Southern Queensland in Toowoomba. After graduating, Adele was cast in SLiDE -- her first professional acting role!

Brenton Thwaites Picture - SLiDE

Brenton Thwaites plays Luke. Brenton was born in Cairns, Queensland, Australia. He studied acting at the Queensland University of Technology. In addition to his work on SLiDE, he plays the recurring role of Stu Henderson on Home and Away. Brenton made his film debut in the independent feature Charge Over You. He can also be seen in the TV movie Blue Lagoon: The Awakening, the Australian comedy Save Your Legs, and the upcoming Angelina Jolie film, Maleficent.
